Simplify3D has updated its popular 3D printing software, expanding its capabilities and support for an even greater number of 3D printers, including the new Dremel Idea Builder and the Moment 3D printer, previously covered through our Korea-based reporters.
The latest update to Simplify3D sees greater control over spacing between inter-locking parts, as well as more efficient tool paths for 3D printers. The former may prove essential for 3D printing complex, moving objects. With FDM/FFF 3D printers, particularly without soluble support material, plastic deposition can sometimes prove clunky, fusing interlocking parts together. …
