Just last week, Scott Crump, co-inventor of the fused deposition modeling seen in MakerBot 3D printers, was inducted into the Minnesota Inventors Hall of Fame. Before that, Chuck Hull, the inventor of stereolithography 3D printing and founder of 3D Systems, was honored with a place in the USA’s National Inventors Hall of Fame.
