Airwolf 3D Adds Lower Cost Option to Line of HD 3D Printers

Costa Mesa-based Airwolf 3D has released yet another low-cost 3D printer, further extending its line of desktop fabricators.  The new AW3D HDL is meant to offer similar quality to its other machines, but without the same frills, reducing the price and increasing the simplicity.
The HDL has a price tag of $2,295.00, making, in the minds of the Airwolf team, ideal for “educators, professionals, and resellers” with a lower budget.  While it can be upgraded later one, the HDL does not have a heated bed or LCD screen and only uses one extruder.  The HDL maintains a substantial build volume, in terms of desktop 3D printers, of 12″ x 8″ x 11″ (305 x 203 x 279 mm).  With a .08 mm layer thickness, the HDL can 3D print at speeds of up to 150 mm/s.…
