The 3D printing industry is definitely booming; thanks in no small part to government subsidies, technological progress and, of course, the inherent benefits of additive manufacturing, not to mention all of the hype. We’ve recently reported on a number of industrial 3D printer manufacturers who have begun expanding their operations, building new facilities in order to meet the increasing demand for the technology. Among them was the UK’s only metal 3D printer maker, Renishaw, which recently opened a facility in India and a Chinese headquarters in Shanghai. As these businesses grow, they’ll not only need buildings, but new workers and Renishaw has begun recruiting nationwide in the UK.…
